Kitchen Renovations

Kitchen Renovations & Cosmetic Upgrades

Cosmetic kitchen upgrades • Replacement cupboard doors • Worktop changes • New cabinetry • Complete kitchen renovations

A kitchen does not always need to be replaced from scratch. Where appropriate, TecBoard can help assess whether selected cupboards, doors, worktops or fittings can be upgraded as part of a cosmetic refresh. For larger projects, we can design and manufacture a complete replacement kitchen.

Kitchen Design Service

We can help you design your kitchen to ensure it is functional as well as aesthetically pleasing.

A functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen requires detailed consultations with the client regarding layout, positioning of appliances, preferences of finishes and of course, the cost. Cupboard Venue follows a sequential and interactive approach with every project.

This process includes site measurement, gathering of information regarding client preferences, initial concept design and finishes.

Affordability remains a key focus area for Cupboard Venue while introducing that all important touch of class.

As a start, why not upload a photo of your current setup to Gemini or Chat GBT Ai and tell it what you have in mind? It will come up with some great ideas to get you going! Just click the logo and Gemini will open in a new window, ready for you to upload your photo. You will need to create a google account if you don't already have one.

Here is an example of what to ask:
"I want to upgrade my kitchen. I have uploaded a photo of what it currently looks like. Can you please give me some alternative layouts together with images for each alternative?"

The 5 Elements of a functional kitchen

1. Kitchen Work Triangle

Easy access to the fridge, the stove and the sink which should ideally form a triangle shape. Adequate counter space next to each element of the triangle make food preparation and cooking much simpler and safer.

2. Microwave Location

Having your microwave on a shelf above the kitchen counter increases work space and opens a spot for putting hot dishes coming out of the microwave.

3. Lighting

Bright and illuminating lighting over all work areas not only looks good but makes working in the kitchen far more pleasant and safe.

4. Seating Placement

Seating should be strategically placed away from the work triangle while still allowing for socialising and enjoying meals.

5. New Technologies

Built in storage organisers like base mounted veggie racks, plate holders and pull out larder units enhance storage capacity and access.
